Design Residency will provide you with customized coaching, tools, and financial support to accelerate the design and early implementation of a scalable equity-centered solution.
Design Residency offers three distinct pathways of support:
- Design Residency: Ventures (for participants launching non-school ventures)
- Design Residency: New Start Charters (for participants launching new schools)
- Design Residency: School Transformations (for participants transforming existing schools)
Design Residency is the third and final entry point into the CityBridge Incubator aimed at creating excellent and equitable schools and educational ventures.

What You Will Do
- Activate principles of equitable design as you build your solution
- Participate in cohort-based learning with a community of like-minded leaders
- Engage in city-wide coalition building to increase support for your solution
- Develop a robust, high-quality final deliverable (charter application, business plan, or scalable program model)

Entrepreneurs, educators, or education-adjacent professionals across Washington, DC who have:

- Identified, defined, and explored a problem and a solution
