Open Opportunities

CityBridge Education provides equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees.

CityTutor DC (CTDC) is looking to hire experienced educators as independent contractors to write math curriculum for tutors. Applicants must be interested in supporting the development of high-quality, standards-aligned curricular resources to improve the implementation and impact of HIT across DC. These resources are targeted for the growing pool of tutors in DC who may not be trained educators but have committed to supporting the acceleration of students through HIT. The goal is to create a bank of free and open resources that are aligned to Common Core State Standards (CCSS) that are digestible and usable for non-educators. The initial phase of this project will be focused on sixth-grade math along with at least one other grade level’s worth of math content in grades 3 through 8.

Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds are expended. CTDC will review applications in batches that are submitted by the following deadlines: April 5th, April 19th, and May 3rd, 2023. CTDC intends to make decisions three to four weeks following submission.
