As Senior Director of Network Engagement, Tiffini Andorful leads CityBridge’s work to curate content, convenings, and connections in order to build a local education ecosystem that is fertile for equity innovation.
Prior to joining CityBridge, Tiffini served as the Interim Executive Director and Senior Director Postsecondary Initiatives at Raise DC, a collective impact education nonprofit. While there, she led the work related to Raise DC’s high-level educational outcome of postsecondary completion. She managed and facilitated two collaborative networks of cross-sector practitioners in DC to identify and execute shared strategies.
Tiffini began her career in education as a Teach For America corps member in Washington, DC. Later she joined EVERFI, an education technology company, where she served in various roles providing training and support to both educators and partners and building cross-sector education partnerships throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. She has years of experience in research, community organizing, strategic partnerships, and secondary/postsecondary teaching, including 9th-grade social studies in DCPS. Her most recent research focused on factors impacting academic outcomes for urban female students of color.
Tiffini serves as a Board Trustee at IDEA Public Charter School in Washington, DC. She has a Ph.D. in Cultural and Education Policy Studies from Loyola University Chicago, as well as an M.A. in Secondary Education from American University, and a B.A. in Sociology from Spelman College.
