As the Administration and Operations Associate, Luke directly supports the senior leadership team, particularly the Executive Director and the Senior Director for School Launch and Incubation. In addition to providing logistical and administrative support, Luke focuses on office projects aimed at greater equity and inclusion. Passionate about personal and institutional transformation, he is excited to deepen his knowledge of this work in DC.
Prior to joining CityBridge, Luke spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar in South Africa. Based at the University of the Free State, he taught academic literacy courses and collaborated on institution-wide equity initiatives. Previously, he earned an MA in English from Georgetown University, where he taught first-generation college students. Luke also researched queer, disability, and critical race theorists and investigated how individuals, classrooms, and institutions can be actively anti-oppressive. His undergraduate leadership experiences at Georgetown focused on intergroup dialogue and racial equity.
