School Design and Transformation at CityBridge

CityBridge partners with DC educators to incubate and launch innovative new schools and transformative educational models that deliver on the talent and potential inherent in all children, especially those disinherited by poverty or race.

We support educators at existing DC Public Schools and DC public charter schools that want to design or redesign an element of their school program, from tackling a classroom problem to transforming their LEA at a systems level. We also incubate leaders that want to begin the work of designing a new school model in Washington, DC.

The CityBridge Launch Fund is an invitation-only program. Are you an entrepreneur with an educational venture that will solve a pressing problem for DC’s students? Contact Millissa Hare, Associate Director of Recruitment and Cultivation, at to learn which CityBridge program is right for you.

No. There are no prerequisite programs for Launch Fund. CityBridge’s programs are not linear; they are designed to meet educators and entrepreneurs at different points in their design journey. At the end of each program, participants outline next steps and CityBridge staff are available to discuss additional programming opportunities.

We’re available to discuss any questions you may have about our programming. Please schedule a call with Millissa Hare, Associate Director, Recruitment and Cultivation, or fill out our contact form.
