2023 DC Teacher summit.

We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education to host a citywide summit for DCPS and DC charter teachers in 2023! We all know that the last two years have been difficult for teachers and we want to create a space for DC teachers to come together and connect, celebrate, and learn from one another.

Teachers Teaching Teachers (T^3): Lessons from Classroom to Community will take place Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and will include teacher-led learning sessions. The event is open to all DCPS and public charter school teachers in DC.

Call for Proposals

The summit originated from conversations with teachers over the last year where we clearly heard requests for an opportunity to connect with and learn from other DC teachers. To honor this, we put out a call for proposals for teachers to lead the sessions, sharing innovative practices and learnings from their classrooms with other teachers in DC.

The Call for Proposals period is now closed.

If you submitted a session proposal, you will be notified of our decision by Friday January 20, 2023. If selected, you will be asked to submit all session material and complete a short run-through with a CityBridge staff member by Friday, February 3, 2023. Presenters will receive a $600 stipend.
