As Director of Stewardship and Engagement, Jen Davis oversees a strategy to build an “army of stewards” who understand D.C. public education and support the practices that are best helping at-risk children succeed. Driven to find intersections between the city’s needs and the philanthropic community’s interests, Jen designs a portfolio of content-rich events for philanthropic and business leaders to learn about the biggest issues and most promising practices in education. She also serves as a resource to those leaders interested in learning or engaging further.
Jen joined CityBridge in 2008 to lead its former skills-based volunteering practice, training and matching talented professionals with pro bono consulting projects and local nonprofit boards. She also spent five years with national literacy nonprofit Everybody Wins!, first managing its corporate volunteer program and development efforts in Chicago and later serving as national development director. Before catching the education bug, Jen was a spokesperson for the Got Milk? campaign.
Jen earned her B.A. with honors from Washington and Lee University.
